Learning percussion is fun!!
I am committed to providing you with the best percussion instruction I can! My teaching balances a detailed, engaging focus on technique while developing musical skills to apply that technique to pieces of music. Through this process, students will develop appreciation for music — helping them to become well rounded musicians.
I teach percussion to students of all ages and levels of experience from beginners picking up sticks for the first time all the way to post secondary and professionals. For nearly a decade I have been teaching percussion in private lessons and in group clinics. My post secondary education and performance/teaching experience in percussion makes me a well rounded teacher. Below, you can find a summary of my teaching experience.
In learning percussion with me you can expect to learn snare drum, marimba, timpani, xylophone, glockenspiel, drum set and many more instruments! Whatever your interest in percussion is we can explore it. The possibilities of percussion are endless!
